Mario Lanza Early 1950s Film Star Weight Machine Card from Spain E4

Description: ABOUT THIS CARD: Mario Lanza pictured on a small but thick vintage weight machine or vending machine card issued in the early 1950s. Card measures approximately 1-3/16" X 2-1/4 inches on thick (appx. 1/16th of an inch) board. This card has a blank back, but I've had others that have had ads from Calzados Garcera out of Spain on back, so that's likely who distributed this card. Again, this card has a blank back. In the 1950s, you would put a penny in a machine and receive one of these cards back with your weight and/or fortune inked on back—this is an 'unused' weight machine card with nothing stamped on back. This sale is for the single card in the title and shown above. GRADING - CONDITION: Sharp card grades EX-MT or 7/10 with a spot of soiling on back. Unused on back (no fortune stamped on back).
