MARBLE'S USA vintage 1933-1940 WOODCRAFT Hunter-Skinner, original BSA sheath

Description: These BSA Woodcrafters were made circa 1933-1940 in Gladstone, Michigan, USA. Original sheath is BSA-marked; original BSA etching on the blade is all gone, unfortunately. This tiny beauty is about 8-1/4" / 21 cm overall; the blade is about 4-3/8" / 11 cm; vintage "roller coaster" logo on ricasso. The blade has been lightly re-sharpened; it's razor-sharp still; the tip is intact; original BSA etching on the blade has been polished-off. Stacked leather washers with colored fiber-n-brass spacers handle, aluminum pommel & brass half-guard. All parts are tight; the pommel has a tiny bit of a play. Original large BSA logo embossed leather sheath is in very condition, considering the age. The leather is soft and supple; the keeper is tight; some stitching loss is noted for accuracy. Marble's was one of the best US makers of hunting knives, axes and other outdoor gear since 1898. This SPORT was made during the "golden era" of Marble's history; it's an excellent quality knife. This tiny beauty is about 8-1/4" / 21 cm overall; the blade is about 4-3/8" / 11 cm long; vintage "roller coaster" Mãrble's / Gladstone / MICH. U.S.A. logo on ricasso.
