Description: Pictured is an uncommon blue & white stoneware salt container offered for sale. The salt is stenciled with Monmouth - Western Stoneware Co.'s Maple Leaf design. The base of the salt & the matching cover are embossed with the Greek Key pattern, and the finial grip has an embossed daisy. Notice the salt is made with no "hanger". It measures 5 3/8" in overall height, 6" in diameter, & dates from 1905 - 1925. The base is in excellent condition with no nicks or damage. The lid has two flakes on its topside.
