Most people are the 8 color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64 color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64 color box, though I've got a few missing. It's okay though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8 color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation. This is a stretchy fabric, so if it's super tight, it will affect length. Our brand new "Mayer" gown is done in this gorgeous magenta color. It's that perfect in between of fuchsia and purple- but funny enough- we could only choose purple from the options, but the color is truly magenta. The gown has an off the shoulder neckline. I ABSOLUTELY love that this dress has a laceup back- so other than length- you really don't need to worry about alterations thanks to the stretch sequin fabric and corset back. This dress does have built in cups, so no bra necessary! I do have 2 stylist tips for this gown.1. The gown has a laceup back and it's super comfy so there's no built in boning. In order to prevent bunching on the laceup back, grab some wardrobe tape before your event so the back will lay flat and not bunch at the laces. If you don't have wardrobe tape: double sided sticky tape will work- but wardrobe tape is better.2. My laceup back trip- tiny safety pins! Not large ones, the tiny safety pins are what you need. Go ahead and save your sanity and make sure you have a few of these on hand so you're not battling with the laces when you lace up the dress. Just attach the tiny safety pin to the end of the lace, and it will be a BREEZE to lace.
