Description: Handmade unisex Cornicello elastic stretch bracelet crafted with 10mm natural polished Rosewood beads, a 1" Italian Horn charm, and three natural Jade beads dyed the green, white and red colors of the Italian national flag; with a finishing bead accent. This design is available in either a silver or gold plated finish. All custom handmade unisex made-to-order sizes available from XXS to XXL+ UNISEX WRIST SIZING (see chart) ~ Every piece is made to order so it's important that you size your wrist accurately. Please see the measuring chart in the product photos for instruction on how to correctly measure your wrist. ---------------------- THE CORNICELLO HORN ~ Like all cultures, the peoples of Italy have several superstitious beliefs to protect themselves and their loved ones against danger, misfortune and bad luck. Their most well-known symbol of protection is the Italian Horn, which dates back to ancient Roman times, and is still widely used today. The horns ward off the evil eye (Malocchio) of devilish envy. By invoking bull-like strength against such evils, the horns bring good luck and good fortune, similar to "touch wood" or "knock wood". Often worn on jewelry, it is also common to see the charm hanging inside a car for protection. Some historians believe it also derives from “cornucopia” -- goat horns filled with gold, precious stones, and products of the earth as symbols of abundance and success, also called the Horn of Plenty. Malocchio is the curse that envious people could silently wish upon you. It is not uncommon to see Italians immediately making a horn sign with their hand to ward off the Malocchio when someone pays a compliment or wishes you something wonderful. Please note also that photography presents differently on varying devices. ♡ CARE INSTRUCTIONS ♡ Your stretch bracelet is handcrafted to be strong and lasting, but elastic, stones, beads and metal plating are not eternal. Natural wear and tear will also affect your jewelry. By following these simple tips, however, you can maintain your jewelry’s beauty for as long as possible: > DO NOT GET YOUR BRACELET WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your bracelet before washing your hands, showering, exercising and swimming since contact with moisture can break down the elastic, ruin finishes and tarnish metals and charms. > AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer or other chemicals can weaken the elastic, harm natural crystals and result in the discoloration and peeling of beads and gemstones. > AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your bracelet in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may lead to elastic erosion and can cause beads and metal to discolor. Remove your bracelet while exercising. > ROLL IT ON AND OFF ~ Do not over-stretch your bracelet! It has been made with pre-stretched elastic. Over-stretching it beyond its capacity will cause it to break. To keep from overly stretching it to put it on and off, slide your fingers into the bracelet first, then gently roll the beads over your knuckles and then onto your wrist. Do the same when taking your bracelet off. > STORE SAFELY ~ Always store your jewelry safely in a soft pouch or secured in a box or drawer. Never wear your jewelry to bed and remove when sleeping.
