The statuette-like bodies turned out to be men dressed in an article of clothing of an Egyptian style attire. They assisted my friends who were with me in saddling up my two sons and daughter ages 10, 7, and 5 upon their respective camels. One of the men then handed me one by one three long thick leather straps to pull, gauge, and guide our direction onward, as I walked through the desert imprinting my footsteps in the sands that now was my wilderness experience.
