Description: Lot Of 4 Small 1950s Ceramic and Plastic Wedding Cake Topper Bride Groom Figurine with Lily of the Valley Bower Individually wrapped. I acquired a small lot of 1950s bride and groom cake toppers from a retired cake decorator who owned a retail shop in my hometown from the 1960s through the 1990s; she worked out of her home before and after. These four ceramic, plaster, & plastic, brand new / vintage cake toppers were individually wrapped and put away in her workshop. I opened one of the four in order to take the photos and close-ups for this listing. Then I put it back in its original packaging and closed it up with the original tape. These figurines stand 4 in high. They have a lily of the valley plastic bower behind the couple. Three of the four feature a bride with pearls on her head as a circlet. One of the four does not. I opened one with the pearls as there are three identical, it seemed like the wise decision. Toppers in this condition from the 1950s are very difficult to come by. The pedestal they stand on seems to be a bisque or even a plaster mix. The couple themselves are a ceramic or porcelain. The bower of flowers is plastic.
