Description: Lot of 18 Vintage Brooches/Pins Preowned Most Unmarked. Large black pin is wonderful, dramatic, unique and in perfect condition. I suspect that this is bakelite but haven't been able to confirm. I've tried the hot water test and it doesn't smell chemically. I searched for a long time to find comps on this black pin but I wasn't able to find another like it. It came from the estate of an elderly woman. The feather is Coro, although hard to read. There is a very old pin (see last two pictures) that has the "C" clasp. One magnificent and unique pin opens up several ways for photographs. that particular pen at one time had some very small cc on the front which are now all missing. The Demiscene pin is in perfect condition. Wish I knew the history of the brass Inca head pin. It is unique. These are all pieces I picked up at estate sales.
