Gorgeous Italian landscape, most likely Northern Italy, Tuscany region. Cergoli reigns from Venice Italy. Large gold frame measures 27" by 23.5". The canvas measures 20" by 16". The inner section of the frame appears to have been recently painted off white with smudging on the inner gold rim. Not sure what that is all about but rest of frame is in good condition with the artwork slightly separating from the frame. Needs some TLC. Artwork itself is in good condition with no rips, tears or holes, some crazing or lines in the upper right hand corner visible on an angle. Blue white sky with rolling hills and the typical white stone farm houses and tall trees.
