Description: On offer, we have a large black and white photograph by famous Cuban photographer Liborio Noval (1934-2012). This is, perhaps, the most famous of all photographs of Fidel Castro. Liborio Noval used this portrait of Fidel holding a cigar for the cover of his 1999 book "Instantaneas de Fidel". This photograph is, I believe, a gelatin silver print with a slightly matte finish. It is signed "Liborio Noval" on the lower right and dated "1977" with penciled "1/5" on the lower left. The photograph measures 24" X 20" including the white margins. This is in excellent condition. The photograph is crisp, clean and clear. It has been handled and has a few wrinkles in the margins. The edges are wavy. Please view my photos for more description. My friend who collects everything is starting to part with a few of his treasures. You may also be interested in the signed Liborio Noval photographs I have on separate listings at this time, including a smaller photo of Fidel. I will be happy to answer any questions, and of course, combine your shipping.
