Description: You're looking at a 1961 Leica 35mm f/1.4 Summilux lens is in excellent condition. I had this lens completely overhauled by Don Goldberg (DAG Camera Repair) in March 2024. This is the goggled version, originally designed for the M3 (which lacks 35mm frame lines) works perfectly with all other Leica M-Mount cameras. The benefit of the goggled version is it can focus much closer - 0.65m. The M2 (non goggled) version can only focus down to 1m. (See sample photos at the end shot with this lens using Kodak Portra 400 and Kodak Tri-X 400) Condition of the Glass: 10/10 No Scratches, No Haze, No Fungus, No "Cleaning Marks". The lens coatings are beautiful. This is about as good as it gets for vintage glass. It's the nicest Steel Rim i've ever seen. Condition of the Chrome Lens Barrel: 9/10- The original chrome luster is largely intact. - There are only a few very minor cosmetic blemishes from regular use. Overall beautiful.- The "Steel Rim" is in excellent condition. Condition of the Goggles: 10/10- No Scratches- No Cracks- No Haze- Clean and Clear Mechanical Condition: 10/10- Smooth focus- The aperture ring moves nice and smooth in half-stop clicks Also Included With Your Purchase: - Leica E41 Leica UVa filter in "user condition" (These are almost as rare as the lens) - Leica Rear Lens Cap
