Legh Richmond (1772-1827), an evangelical Anglican minister, educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. In addition to his writing and duties as a rector, he took an interest in the British and Foreign Bible Society, the Church Missionary Society, and was a chaplain to the Lock Hospital in London. His editorial work included a series of theological works, with biographies, in eight volumes published as Fathers of the English Church (1807-1812).
