Large Pair Vintage Brass Newell Post or Gate Post Lights 37.5" Tall Restored

Description: This wonderful pair of large vintage brass gate post lights will add old world charm to your home. The brass has naturally aged to the gorgeous green patina in the photos. This pair of lights is made to mount on the gate posts entering your property, but could also be used at the top of steps etc. These were high quality post lights when made. They came off an estate near us and have now been restored, rewired and tested for safety. They are in great condition and ready to mount. MEASUREMENTS: Height: 37.5" tall Width: 13 1/4" at widest point of shade Mounting Plate: 6" Square, with 4 bolt holes Each light takes four candelabra light bulbs, up to 60 watts. One of the side panels is a door to easily open and change the light bulbs. PLEASE NOTE: There are inconsistencies in the patina, as expected, on the roofs there is some differences as pictured. Great condition! The glass has been replaced at some point and changed to plastic. It is clear and looks like glass, there is some scratching from cleaning, the most noticeable is shown in the last photo. It is on the right side of the panel, near the door handle. There are other small scratches, that should not show unless under very close inspection, since these are outdoor lights you won't get very close to. Photo #9 shows the base of one of the lights. when these were removed, they used a saw to cut the bolts for removal. In this space on the base, the saw slipped and cut into the brass a bit. The side next to that has a bit of rub as well. It will get the aged look back in that area pretty quickly, once outside. This pair of lights is in very nice condition for age, you will notice patina and age on the finish. If you have any questions or would like to see more photos, please contact us.
