The knife is made in the USA. Comes With The Rare Display Shield.Blade Is In Beautiful Original Condition.Handle Shows Wear With Minor Light Discoloration. Features: 1. 9-1/8" Stainless Steel Blade (see photos).2. 14-1/4" overall length 3. Handle material is a black composite with minor wear from handling not use of the knife blade. 4. Blade tang has "Case XX USA 1836" (see photos); the blade itself has Daniel Boone holding the knife.5. It appears that the tang runs all the way through the handle, there are 3 large brass pins that indicate that it runs at least through most of the handle; the finger guard is solid brass. 6. The blade edge has not been sharpened; it is sharp now with no nicks.7. The sheath with this knife is the original and has the Case name on it; the top strap is in place and working; the sheath shows minor wear and the brass might need some polishing.
