Large 30" Antique Bronze "Sword of Valor" Statue Andre Massoulle Paris Foundry

Description: Antique large bronze statue of a standing male warrior holding a large sword. This rare piece is titled "Sword of Valor" and was originally designed by artist Andre P. Massoulle. (French 1851-1901) Made by the French Foundry, Thiebaut Freres in Paris. The statue stands 30" high and weighs 30+ pounds. Overall, in very good antique condition with the left arm seam visible. The right arm seam is just barely starting to show too. This is common on this statue and this design. This is Not Damage! You can see in both photos the round spot where the pin is below the spot. The arms are both still tight. Not loose. This is typical to this foundry and statue! The dark brown patina showing a green cast in areas in the light. The last photo has some information on the history of the piece. That information is for a different statue that sold a while back!
