Any programming fees are not included in the purchase price. Programming instructions are included for the remote for vehicles 2007-2010. Vehicles year model 2011 and up require programming by a dealer or locksmith with programming equipment. Vehicles manufactured for sale in Canada do not have an on-board programming procedure for the transponder key due to government requlations. If your VIN number starts with a "2" it is a Canadian vehicle and the do-it-yourself programming will not work. Programming must be done by a GM dealer or qualified locksmith with proper programming equipment. This remote has a remote start button. Your vehicle must be equipped with this option for this feature to work.
