Below is a summary of the information I have about the item. I purchased this bat on ebay years ago along with several others in a large lot. At that time I was told the seller had been a bat boy and that's how they'd acquired the bats. The bat was used by former Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals All-Star Kent Bottenfield. The bat is a hard to find Pitchers Game Used bat. I can't find a crack or split in the bat but not being a professional I'm guessing there is one somewhere ant this is why it was taken out of game play. Written on the end of the bat is what looks like #16 to me but I believe it's a #46 that just didn't get made really well as this was Bottenfield's # with the Rockies.
