Every other page includes either a beautiful color or black & white full page, intext, or two page spread illustration of a mammal, bird or reptile collected from somewhere in the world. Buck began his writing career in 1930 with the book “Bring ‘em Back Alive” and went on to co-author numerous books with Ferrin Fraser, this being his eighth and last.
