Description: This lot of three Johnny Bench baseball trading cards is a must-have for any Cincinnati Reds fan or collector of sports memorabilia. Bench was a 10-time Gold Glove Award winner, a 14-time All-Star, and a two-time National League (NL) Most Valuable Player (MVP). He led the NL in home runs twice and in runs batted in (RBI) three times. In 1970, at the age of 22, he won his first NL MVP award, and he followed it up with another in 1972 at the age of 24. He helped the Reds win four NL pennants and two World Series titles in 1975 and 1976. In 1989, after retiring from the game, Johnny Bench was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, receiving 96.42% of the votes in his first year of eligibility. His number 5 jersey was retired by the Cincinnati Reds. Bench spent his entire 17-year career with the Cincinnati Reds. He made his MLB debut on August 28, 1967, at the age of 19.
