Behind the trees is a hillside with a gray yellow sky above the high horizon. In the far distance a trail of smoke is visible rising from the middle of the hillside. There is a unidentified exhibit label that references Mr. Of. He was an artist, but also a framer. His label on the back of the painting may signify both that he owned the painting, or that he framed the painting and was storing it for the owner/artist, which would explain the instructions on the label that the painting be returned to him after an exhibit.
