In the foreground there is a grassy soft yellow-green clearing, with a band of trees in the middle distance left and right, and a clearing between the trees. Across the left foreground there is a tree trunk lying on the ground, with trees behind it in shades of yellow. The trees on the right have rust/orange colored leaves. Behind the trees is a hillside with a gray yellow sky above the high horizon. In the far distance a trail of smoke is visible rising from the middle of the hillside. There is a unidentified exhibit label that references Mr. Of. He was an artist, but also a framer. His label on the back of the painting may signify both that he owned the painting, or that he framed the painting and was storing it for the owner/artist, which would explain the instructions on the label that the painting be returned to him after an exhibit.
