Description: This is an original death mask of John Dillinger, made on July 23rd, 1934. The mask is a true piece of historical memorabilia and a must-have for any collector of items related to mobs, gangsters, and criminals. The mask was made in the United States and is a rare piece of evidence that tells a story of a legendary outlaw. The mask is not signed, but it still holds immense value and historical significance. It is a great addition to any collection of collectibles and a perfect conversation starter. This is a 3rd generation mask from one of the original 4 molds made July 23rd 1934. This is from one of the good molds made at that time with great detail and not distorted as in some of the masks seen today. Along with the death mask comes a photo of Dillinger as he lays on a gurney at the Chicago Police morgue that fateful night. The injury on the right side of his face is where the bullet exited after being shot from behind. The injury on his left side of his face is where he fell on the pavement. This mask is white plaster. I took the photos in a dark area so it doesn't show the correct color. Free USPS Ground shipping. This death mask is 13 inches high and 6 1/4 inches wide made of plaster.
