Description: For sale - One complete 42" side discharge mower deck removed from a running John Deere X300 with 271.3 hours on a working meter. Good working condition. Deck mounts up properly and cuts great. Spindles are good, blades are sharp, and belt is in good shape. Paint is above average - deck shows some small areas of peeling paint and surface rust - please see pictures. Underside shows some light surface rust consistent with age and normal use. Plastic discharge chute is missing - steel shield under plastic chute is present and included as pictured. Deck was missing the RH gauge wheel arm when it came in - we replaced the arm with a similar style arm from a rusted deck - please see pictures. Adjusting holes are of a different style - please see pictures. If your lawn requries a perfect cut - please understand that creativity might be required to get the gauge wheels perfectly level.
