Description: Complete mower deck gearbox removed from a greaseable spindle style 60 inch JD deck to fit a 420 or 430 Lawn & Garden Tractor. Gearbox is JD part number AM39377 which has been replaced by AM133761 and is available from JD for $1677.32 Listed as correct / original equipment for 420/430 60 inch decks all serial numbers. JD changed from a Curtis to a Peerless gearbox at serial number 505516 and this is a Peerless gearbox. New shaft seals were installed and fresh gear oil to the correct level. Gear box is smooth and tight. Unit was tested before removal and gear oil was clean and at the correct level when drained for service. Shafts are in great shape and held the pulley and yoke nice and tight. There is a few nicks on one of the shafts but it doesn’t interfere with the seal it rides below the small imperfection. It was cleaned up with crocus cloth and is smooth. I'm including the roll pins as they are still in good usable condition also. Lots of life left in this box. Comes as shown.
