This is a job lot of both woodworking and woodcarving tools along with several sharpening hones that are all contained in a very nice wooden 3 drawer chest. The tools were used previously by my father-in-law who was a keen amateur woodworker he bought these over a 30-40 year span up unitl the early 1980's. All good quality makers here such as Marples, Sorby, Taylor, Hearnshaw etc. The tools are all free or damage or repair although one or two may require the edges regrinding or sharpening this should be a fairly quick job if you are familiar with the process. Many of the tools have either Boxwood or Rosewood handles.There are 5 X Marples bevel edged chisels with shatterproof handles - 4 of these have the "Trefoil Logo"and are the sought after older types. There are a total of 31 tools in the box all with wooden handles and metal ferrules there are just too many to describe individually in any detail. There are 4 X sharpening hones/stones and a diamond sharpening tool. A nice mix of older vintage tools - different profiles, shapes and sizes to enable most work to be undertaken.
