Unlike the JICO SD N44-7 DJ improved stylus, the Jico SD N44-7 improved (without the DJ moniker) stylus is designed to perform like the original Shure N44-7 -- for music listening and DJing with a tracking force of 1.5g-3.0g. The JICO N44-7 DJ improved stylus is designed for more demanding application (i.e, non-skipping); thus use robust parts for optimal tracking at 3.5~4.5g. For us, the JICO SD N44-7 improved stylus is just right.
