The knife is in perfect condition, but I did put on a leather lanyard (beautiful hand cut full grain horween chromexcel leather cordage) which is just something I do with all my slipjoints. I've also found it to be important in being able to quickly bring back hair popping sharpness in the field due to the ability to simply just hit a couple passes on a ceramic rod, realigning any microscopic deformation to the edge.
