Description: This is a white glazed cup made by Living National Treasure "Hara Kiyoshi". There is his mark on the underside of the cup's 'bowl' at the bottom 'Koudai. He has continued his research on iron glaze and has been recognized as a holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property for 'Iron Glaze Pottery.' Although this piece is not an iron glaze work but a white porcelain piece, it closely resembles the Kohiki "Buncheong ware" of the Joseon dynasty, suggesting that it was likely influenced by those works." A slightly pale pink stain, resembling a watermark, gives the appearance of an 'Amamori' stain. The areas where the glaze has peeled off, such as around the rim, seem to evoke the style of the Joseon dynasty. Kiyoshi Hara (born February 28, 1936) is a Japanese potter. In 2005, he was recognized as a Living National Treasure. SIZE Height: 5cm Diameter: 7.3cm total Weight: 205g Condition: used / There is some glaze peeling and small scratches on the mouth.
