Description: This vintage Japanese wood kokeshi doll measures 7.5" high. Her kimono features maple leaves on a red paper kimono that has been glued to the wood. She's also wearing a bright yellow obi, and an orange hair bow. What is interesting is the wood grain/ridges in her hair. Please see below for flaws. This kokeshi doll is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws other than some natural darkening of the wood - and would make a great addition to your growing collection. White areas are camera glare. Please remember that this is a vintage doll that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots.
