Description: Exquisite ornate hand made needlework was sewn on a slightly sparkly gold fabric. The Kanji are in the upper left. It speaks of rising up when you are knocked down 7 times, to be able to bounce back or win in the face of adversity. This piece has 8 brightly colored quirky figures, perhaps to depict the 7 times off falling and the 8th, larger figure suggests the final state of standing back up. On the back of frame it is signed L. C. 2000. Framed in a dark wood frame with red stripping covered in glass, it measures approximately 23 inches long x 16 inches wide. Great condition.
