Description: We are delighted to offer this rare stellar Awaji pottery low vase, combining sensuous and organic form with swift curves and curls, leaving a wabi-sabi style; circa 1930. This piece features a cream base glaze with blue glaze dripping along the sides. They melt in a pool of crackling glaze at the center. It measures approximately 13.25” diameter x 7” across x 1.75” high, and is gently used; with wear consistent with age and use. It is marked on the base. We appreciate your careful review of the photos as they tell so much more than we can articulate; and ask that you zoom in for a closer look at any and all condition issues. We welcome questions and encourage you to ask before reaching a buying decision. Fixed rate shipping applies to US buyers only. As always, we thank you for taking a moment to consider this piece.
