This is for the one piece of a barrel stave that is pictured. This is made from a reclaimed Kentucky Bourbon Barrel stave. It is solid white oak from a used bourbon barrel on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail & has a charred back which has been scraped & polyurethaned. Used staves may have rough spots, splinters, markings from the metal rings that held the barrel together & other imperfections which are expected from used barrels. These are character markings. These have a fairly flat edge & can be placed on a shelf. They are bowed somewhat because they form the “belly” of the barrel. They vary in width from one end to the other which is how they were originally cut to form a barrel. My last photo labeled “My Stock Photo” shows how these look sitting on a bourbon bar shelf - stave shown in this one photo is different than the stave that is being sold in this listing. All of the other pictures are of the particular stave piece being sold.
