Description: Very rare manual for an original, 1999 release of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Atmos Du Millenaire “Atlantis” clock. The Atmos du Millenaire “Atlantis” is a desk clock designed by Robert Kohler for Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1999 to celebrate the new millennium. The clock's perpetual calendar is accurate to 3000 years, and the moon phase is accurate to within one day every 3821 years. The Atmos du Millenaire “Atlantis” is wound by changes in air pressure and doesn't need to be manually wound. Constructed entirely by hand, these clocks are always highly collectible representing an important part of Jaeger-LeCoultre's history. Extraordinarily rare, Jaeger-LeCoultre has produced only 50 Atmos Du Millénaire “Atlantis” clocks each year since 1999. This owners manual is dated August of 1999, making it part of the original 50 clocks released. The set includes a box for the owners manual, which also houses a crisp, clean notebook for recording millennial events, two certificates of guaranty, and a small notecard with warnings regarding proper shipment of the clock. The manual’s packaging itself is quite remarkable; the books are removed from the box by pulling a ribbon which causes a flap to lift and the books to pop out. Each book is housed in its own protective book sleeve. There are two small tears on the inside of the box as seen in photos. The notebook is crisp and clean without any writing - it feels as if it has never been opened.
