Jacques Lemans Swiss Automatic 18K Gold Plate Watch Alligator Display Back $1395

Description: For Sale: Jacques Lemans Swiss Made Automatic Dress Watch in 18K gold plate over stainless steel with display back, deployant clasp, sapphire crystal, alligator strap (made in USA) and date. The crown, strap and deployant are all 'Jacques Lemans' or 'JL' "signed/marked". There is a small tag on the watch showing its original retail price and a bunch of other numbers. I purchased this watch new in 2006 and never wore it. On the box, it says, '18K' gold plate and the watch back says, "10 MIC GOLD PLATED". The back does not say "18K", so I cannot say absolutely that it is 18K vs., for instance 24K. There are some remnants of light blue, protective plastic still on the watch in some locations (i.e. deployant and crown). Excellent luminescence (hands only) with gold applied hour markers. There appear to be small dots of applied luminescent material above each applied hour marker, but they do not glow at all. Includes manual and original "The SWI Group" 5-year warranty card, which has long since expired. Spinning the rotor, I was able to make the watch run. With a small amount of hand winding and a bit more spinning, I tested the watch running for an hour against my phone's stop watch. The watch was a about 1/2-second fast after one hour. I cannot guarantee that the watch will continue to run this well over time or with different amounts of hand winding, auto-winding or use.
