It was tested and inspected by a team of factory authorized techs. All electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight and the set up is to factory specs. When we polished the guitar the only thing we found is a cloudy area in the finish on the back. I have included a picture pointing to the area but it is light and hard to see in a picture. The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair. Who refurbishes your instruments? All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier. Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty? No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. Per agreement with Jackson there is a small used stamp on the back of the headstock to indicate there is no factory warranty. Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it? All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box. However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and getting bumped around during shipping.
