This was used in the May 14, 2024 game between the Rangers and the Guardians, the first Arlington start of Jack Leiter’s career. It was one of the first baseballs he threw in the game, being used in the top of the first inning, a fastball to Andres Gimenez. Leiter threw 64 pitches in the game, 38 for strikes, including this one. Gimenez was the second hitter of the game, reaching base on a fielder’s choice after an 11-pitch at bat.
