Description: Offered is a Texas Rangers Rawlings gray road Texas Rangers jersey issued to catcher Ivan Rodriguez. One year style, "TEXAS" is arched across the front in four colors- Dark Royal blue, red, white and an almost invisible gray drop shadow. À single corse of royal blue knit trim rings the sleeve ends. Rangers Texas flag patch on the left sleeve, 2000-only Rangers 1999 Western Division Champions patch on the right sleeve. The MLB Silhouetted Batter logo patch is stitched to the center of the back collar, in its first year of use on all MLB jerseys. The player number "7" and the name on back in properly extra-condensed team font RODRIGUEZ are all in three-layer stitched twill, Dark Royal blue, red and white. The name is sewn first to a matching gray nameplate with a serged edge. This nameplate is extra long, with more than two extra inches of fabric at each end. Regarded as one of the best ever catchers ever to play the game, Rodriguez was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2017 in his first year of eligibility. Off to a great first half in 2000, Rodriguez broke his thumb on late July and missed the final third of the season. In his career of 21 seasons, he played 11 of them with the Rangers. He appeared in the MLB All-Star game 14 times. Manufacturer and Team Tagging: Rawlings was the official on-field uniform supplier to the Rangers and just a few other teams in 2000, and contractually was allowed to display its circled-R logo on the end of the left sleeve, direct-embroidered in dark Royal. Authentic Collection Rawlings tagging is stitched inside the left front tail. Two side-by-side flag tabs pinched beneath the bottom edge of the Rawlings locker tag show the size as 50, and a tailoring tag that says "Minus 2 inch body and sleeves length" (measuring these elements, the body is minus 2 inches, the sleeves are 1" shorter than normal). Pinch-sewn under the right side of the locker tag is a flag that says SET 2 2000.
