These are the last ones!! -- This is the real deal - a genuine supplied air/inflatable nuclear protection suit, surplus stock from a nuclear power plant. The manufacturer only certifies a suit for three years from the date of manufacture, after that it can't be used in hazardous locations and is now available for your pleasure. This is a size large with size 9 gloves. Generally fits someone from 5'-9" to 6'-0" though we've had them on people who are 6'-1" with no issues. This will come new in sealed manufacturer's packaging. We have noticed that on some suits the adhesive used to hold one of the zippers on has bled causing black marks on the inside of the suit. This does wipe off with the right cleaner. The suit has a hook up on the right hip for air from a breathing air compressor. It's a special fitting for breathing air use, this should not be hooked up to an everyday air compressor as the compressor can contaminate the air with oil, vapors and metal dust. The suit has 6 air exhaust valves in 4 spots. These release excess air to insure a constant flow. To inflate the suit as shown in the pictures we taped over most of the valves to get it to blow up that big. In normal use the suit is puffy, but not like a balloon. Sealing up exhaust valves will keep more air in and make it more like a balloon. There are two zippers running up the back. The first one is like a normal zipper - it pulls the back closed. The second one runs over the first one and is an airtight zipper. Both zippers run from the crotch and are closed when the pulls are up behind the head. With some ingenuity and string one person can enclose themselves. In case the air supply fails there is a mouth piece like on a scuba snorkel that is attached to an air filter outside the suit. You can use this to breathe filtered outside air until out of the danger zone. As a last resort, there is an emergency escape rip cord which opens the suit across the chest, but it's a one time thing, it can not be re-closed. The white stripes on the chest area are air flow channels which direct air all around the suit to get good circulation. This keeps the suit from getting too sweaty during strenuous use as there is a breeze taking the humid air away. A knob on the air inlet fitting controls this flow. This does not have boots as it is designed to be worn over coveralls and the worker's boots. You can put boots on over this suit before inflating it. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
