Description: Offered is a set of two vintage Imperial Glass "Sure Shot" tumblers in green and gold. These were manufactured by the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire OH during the period 1950-1970, approximately. They were designed to resemble the green shotgun shells from the Remington Arms Company. The green portion of the glass is ribbed. The lower portion is coated with gold and has a raised embossing on the bottom - "SURE SHOT XXXXXXXXX". These are 11 oz. glasses, approximately 5 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. Imperial Glass also made other sizes of this shotgun glass, in both green and red versions. Imperial sold the glasses to Trader Vic's restaurant chain which used them to serve the Gun Club Punch #1. These glasses are in very good pre-owned condition. The green colored glass is in excellent shape. There is some minor gold loss on the bottom surface, as can be seen in the photos. There is very minimal gold loss in the circular ridges on the lower portion, which is difficult to see and does not show up well in the photos. Don't miss this opportunity to add these to your collection! Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Thank you for looking at my listing!
