Description: ULTRARARE USSR VFD CRT indicator tube (Green glow). First 4 photos made with Tesla coil. Have no sockets for this tubes, but tail cap can be removed like shown on 2nd photo(just with blade cut around it) and then solder to wires or use special pin-wires to connect. Type ILD3 (ILD3-K = red, ILD3-L = green, ILD3-S = blue) is a small cathode-ray tube without focusing system and beam deflection. It's just a point of light. These tubes were designed for giant TV panels and scoreboards. As far as I know, only one such screen has been assembled in the USSR. Maybe those was used in world first color outdoor advertising TV panel called "ELLIN" in 1972 year. (By the way its designed in my relative city of Vinnitsa, Ukraine and was presented in Moscow as capital of USSR)Each pixel of the screen consisted of four indicators ILD3 - red, blue and two green. Indicator can adjust size of DOT, depends on modulation and 1st anode voltage Also, you can drive indicator light by magnetic field: NOS, OTK(quality control) The main electrical characteristics:Heater voltage, V ................................... 6.3Heater current, mA, nominal ............................... 100Anode voltage, V ................................... 60001st Anode voltage, V...............................40 Current anode uA nominal ............................... 350Modulator voltage, V ........................ 0 - 35Voltage cathode-heater .......... + - 135more information you can see in datasheet. (was connected about 6kV to anode, 24V to 1st anode and for modulator, 6,3V to heater and it works perfect too.)
