Description: The HDx35 is an optical converter that enables B4 mount 2/3“ HD video lenses to work with most 35 mm format large sensor cameras. The Mark II system has increased coverage to work with more cameras. The HDx35 Mark II adapts from B4 to a Universal Mount System. Available mount options include ARRI PL, Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Sony FZ and Micro 4/3. All HD converters also optically corrected for the different spectral alignments between three-chip prism block sensors, for which the B4mount lenses were designed, and the single sensor of the large sensor cameras. HD converters are highly telecentric in design, delivering a bright, sharp image across the entire frame with excellent color and contrast. The HDx35 Mark II is an optical adapter for use with ARRI ALEXA, RED Epic (all 4K formats), Sony F3/F5/F55/F65/FS100/FS700, Phantom Flex/v641/v642, HD Gold (1920x1080) and Canon C100/C300/C500. Our new Universal Mounting System (UMS) allows the reassembly to any mount out there either PL or Canon EF, Sony NEX E, Sony FZ, MFT and Nikon F Mount without reshiming needs! HDx optical adapters mounted between B4 mount 2/3” HD lens and the newest super 35 cameras will cover all (4K) image areas. The adapter turns the B4 lens into a 2.6x longer focal length lens that the relative depth of field expected for the larger sensor is achieved, while the usual field of view when the lens is mounted to a 2/3” camera is maintained.
