Manifold is ½ inch CPVC and all sections are glued except where the riser pops into the “X Crossbar”. You can glue it in place or leave it as a blow out point if the sprayers get jammed. This will take pressure off the pump and keep it from failing. Based on a riser height of 8 inches a 150 -185 GPH pump should work. The ½ inch hose connector segment allows for attachment to the pump. Using a 185 gph pump the spray area can be up to 36 x 36 inches in coverage. This can be seen in the UV/fluorescent test picture. What you do: Gently screw in the spray heads. Don't over tighten and snap them off. Select your riser height or keep it as is. Insert the riser into the “X”. Connect the manifold to the pump with the ½ inch tubing to the riser. Pump not included.
