How Stella Got Her Groove Back Soundtrack CD 1998 Promo Copy Revised Broadcast

Description: For sale is the "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" Soundtrack released on CD in 1998 on Flyte Tyme Records with distribution by MCA Records. Produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, it features 14 tracks featured in the film from some of the biggest R&B artists of the day, including the singles "Luv Me, Luv Me" by Shaggy featuring Janet Jackson and "Beautiful" by Mary J. Blige. (SEE PICTURES for complete track listing). This is the rarer third pressing (Matrix #: MCAD11806 0521711220), which was revised due to an apparent issue with the digital mastering on the original pressings. This particular copy bears the sticker indicating this revision as well as two other record company promotional stickers, including one indicating it was also a broadcast copy. As a promotional copy, it also has the standard hole punch through the barcode on the rear inlay. (See pictures and detailed description below for condition and grading): CONDITION: Disc: In VERY GOOD condition with light to moderate surface scratches throughout which do not affect playback. Front Booklet Insert: In NEAR MINT condition with no flaws. Rear Inlay/Insert: In NEAR MINT condition with hole punch through barcode. Jewel Case: Condition is Not Graded, but has moderate wear and three cracks on the back panel, which can be easily replaced. The front case door shows moderate wear but no cracks, and the hype stickers are still in good shape. Rest assured that the CD case will be placed in a resealable polypropylene sleeve to prevent any wear to the case or hype stickers during shipping. Item comes from a smoke-free home.
