Description: Presented today is this beautiful Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Hon, the White Bear Kachina. Standing 5 and a half inches tall, the entire sculpture was carved from a single piece of Cottonwood root, by Elgean Joshevama, a carver of transcendent technical skill. From the bottom of the base to the top of his head, the only pieces that was added after carving was the bow, the rattle and the feathers. Except for that, EVERYTHING is a single piece of carved Cottonwood root. This is a tour de force of technical achievement, beyond the ability of all but a few of the finest Hopi carvers. One-piece carving has always been a trademark of Elgean's work, and this is a fine example of his work. The person lucky enough to win this exquisite piece will own a lifelong treasure. Do not let this golden opportunity slip by. This is your chance to own an example of the finest Kachina carving being done today. Sincere Congratulations in advance to the very lucky buyer, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
