Each is a 10 hole diatonic like the Marine Band type. The reeds are brass and the inserts are non-swelling plastic and the covers are non-corroding black plastic as well. This is an excellent set for beginners since it covers most of the popular keys in both Straight Harp and Cross Harp positions (chart on box). Included is music for the song, "Sittin' On Top Of The World" in an arrow method notation as recorded by the Piedmont harmonica player, Sonny Terry.
