It comes painted in the Santa Fe's "pinstripe" blue and yellow with yellow lettering. It carries number 1266. The shell is made of plastic and the frame is die cast metal. It is equipped with automatic knuckle couplers. The item is powered via a standard Scale Trains mechanism (motor is the center with drive shafts and flywheels to each truck, and all the wheels are geared.) It also has factory installed DCC with sound decoder by LOK Sound. It is programmed to operate on #3. It is highly detailed. It has been test run only and it runs well. The LOK sound is fantastic.
