These readers can read HF and LF contactless credentials, adhering to ISO 14443 A & B, and ISO15693 standards, with an added layer of security through a randomly displayed keypad PIN entry. The ScramblePad design, widely deployed in secure locations, enhances security by randomizing digits upon each use, preventing code acquisition and minimizing keypad wear patterns. The TS ScramblePad, featuring a uTrust TS Reader module, offers versatility and interoperability within the uTrust TS Reader family. Approved by GSA for use in FIPS201/FICAM environments, it serves as a direct replacement for legacy ScramblePads, supporting various card technologies and facilitating migration to next-generation requirements. The reader provides flexibility with RS-485 (OSDP) or Ethernet (PoE) options, legacy Wiegand support, and unique bi-directional ScramblePad features, making it a cost-effective choice for U.S. government FICAM card authentication.
