Description: This is an amazing Flamenco style guitar from renowned luthier Hiroshi Tamura. Tamura and his brother built high end guitars in Japan from the 1950’s-1980’s and they are very collectible. Although he built both classical and flamenco guitars his flamenco models like this one are the most prized and are known by players around the world. This one features a solid spruce top and solid cypress back and sides. It has great punch and tone, a very fine instrument! The original price of this guitar in 1971 was 40,000 yen, not a cheap guitar! This one has some battle scars like a repaired and cleated crack in the top, a crack in the side and a few bumps and bruises as shown in the pictures. Some fine finish crazing in the top visible in the right light. One tuning peg is bent but works fine. There is also some slight buzzing in the 6th string that could likely be cured with a proper setup (current action is very low). All of this is reflected in the price which is about half of what one without repairs would cost. No case included. Scale Length: 660 mm Nut Width: 53mm Action at 12F (1st): 1mm Action at 12F (6th): 2mm Overall Condition: 7/10 Rare Factor: 11 out of 10 USA Seller, check my feedback to see how I value my customers and see my other listings for more rare Japanese Guitars and other unique gear! i use recycled packaging for reduced environmental impact and ship all items 100% insured against loss or damage.
