Description: For your consideration is an original painting I believe was painted by Helen G Blumenschein. There is an entry card on the back from the New Mexico State Fair (photo #7). The card says the artist is Helen G. Blumenschein. The painting is titled “Pilar Winter”. It is a watercolor on a crinkled paper canvas. The outside dimensions of the frame are 23.75” wide and 18” high. The inside dimensions are 19.75” wide and 14” high. PLEASE READ: The artist has written something on the front of the painting (photo #9). I haven’t been able to figure out what was written. It is not Helen Blumenschein’s signature. There are some initials; however, I haven’t been able to make those out. I can not be sure this is a Blumenschein painting. I am basing the authenticity of the painting on the entry card on the back. The condition of the painting is excellent. I haven’t found any flaws. The frame is in good condition. It has a few minor scuffs in the wood.
