Description: HARMONY KINGDOM Cat's Cradle Cat in Basket with Kittens Lidded Box. Limited Edition of 1000 pieces. Made in the United Kingdom. New In Box. #615/1000 It was the first piece ever created as a Parkwest/NALED exclusive and it was the first piece in the "Bountiful Basket" series. David Lawrence carved this in 1996 and it was released 3/1/1997 with an edition size of David's signature acorn appears near the ball of yarn. The figurine itself is of a mother cat and her kittens resting in a basket. The carving and the staining of the basket are extremely realistic looking. In front of the mother cat, two kittens are snuggling together and a third is peeking out from under a blanket. The blanket has excellent staining. It's a deep deep red, almost a burgundy color. Behind the mother cat is one last kitten, sleeping next to a ball of yarn. The interior has a female mouse laying down on a mattress/blanket (I'm not sure) and she is perfect...from the tiny bow in her hair down to her shoes. Resting with his head on her stomach is her boyfriend mouse...again, he's perfect....from his tophat (complete with feather) down to the soles of his boots. S e c r e t s Each piece is made of crushed marble, hand painted and tinted, hand-numbered and bears the artist's monogram. Hallmarks include ©, diamond, HBC logo, ed.#, and DL. This box figurine has been kept in the original box by a collector. This set is from the estate of a Royal Watch Collector's Club Member. MINT CONDITION.
