Description: This handmade bear is made from an upcycled pieced quilt. This vintage quilt is very worn with quite a few faded and worn pieces. It was originally made with a light green fabric that has faded out. Part of the original quilt is pictured. He measures about 20" tall with button eyes sewn on securely with carpet thread, a plastic bear nose and embroidered mouth, and he's been softly stuffed with poly fiberfill. The quilts I make these bears from are cutter quilts that would otherwise be thrown away, so expect to see fabrics that have holes, tears, and/or excessive wear. These fabrics in particular are quite worn and fragile, so would best be for display and not for a child's toy. So much work went into these quilts, I love giving them a second life.
